PETER VAUGHAN

Peter is a registered counsellor (MNZAC) with 25+ years experience. He grew up in the South Island and moved to the North in his late teens. He married a Ngapuhi woman and they have five children and seven mokopuna.
Peter specialises in working with male survivors of trauma such as child sexual abuse. He specialises in non-violence programmes, anxiety, depression, self esteem, addiction issues, couples and family counselling therapy.
Peter has trained and practiced in techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative and Virtues therapy, Dynamics of Whanaungatanga (Ngapuhi), Rogerian/Client Centred, Breath Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy. Men, couples and families are welcome to meet with me and discuss the services I offer.
