Shelly is an NZAC registered counsellor with over 16 years’ experience.   She works alongside Tāne and Wahine and with people of all ages; tamariki, rangatahi, nga pakeke, kuia and kaumatua.  

Shelly has trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) and uses a person centred approach, drawing on TA to explore patterns of thinking, feeling and relationships.  Shelly offers a holistic and culturally responsive practice using other modalities such as CBT and Sandplay Therapy.

Shelly is based in the Hokianga and has a strong connection to the community, whānau and whenua. She values the opportunity to walk alongside people, supporting them through challenges, relationships and life transitions.
