Trauma Informed Yoga - Whangarei - Wāhine / Women
8 weeks
For those wāhine / women seeking to nurture the spirit / wairua and repair the body / tinana. You will be guided and supported to process, repair and shift your trauma experiences into healing and wholeness. You will have freedom to make your own movement choices and be encouraged to develop your own regular yoga practice. -

Equine Therapy - Whangarei
1 day group or 5 week group
For those who wish to develop trauma coping skills in partnership with horses. Horses teach us how to regulate our nervous system, be assertive and set boundaries. Develop connections with the horses in a rural safe peaceful environment whilst learning emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, assertive communication and confidence. -

Move Connect Heal - Bay of Islands
2 day group
A trauma-informed yoga, dance movement therapy and nature-based weekend to support trauma recovery. Each weekend coincides with the four seasons to honour and connect with our natural biorhythms and those of te taiao / the natural world. -

Coping Skills - Whangarei
12 Weeks
Allowing you to live a more skillful, less impulsive life. Skills you will learn in the group are based on Cognitive Behavioural and Dialectic Behavioural under four-core skill sets: Distress tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotional regulation and Interpersonal effectiveness.
Both men and women are welcome to join this group.
