Philippa Munro

Counsellor

Kerikeri

‍ ‍Philippa is an NZAC registered counsellor offering online and in-person counselling in Kerikeri for children, adults and older adults.‍ ‍

Reaching out for support can feel daunting. Philippa offers a calm, confidential space to talk through what you’re facing, make sense of your experiences, and identify practical next steps. Together, we can explore ways to manage anxiety, stress and low mood, strengthen self-esteem, build life skills, and support emotional wellbeing.‍ ‍

With over 17 years’ experience, Philippa has supported individuals, carers and families to navigate challenges and work toward meaningful goals.

Over the past 8 years, Philippa has worked alongside children and adults with autism and intellectual disabilities, to build on their life skills, social confidence, work readiness, and connection with community, friendships and support networks.

Philippa draws on different approaches which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play therapy for children. She also has an interest in running groups focused on healthy relationships and social skills.

Philippa welcomes an initial chat to see how we can work together toward your goals.
