Ginni is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in Aotearoa since 2019. Ginni works alongside adolescents and adults of all genders and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ginni understands that choosing a therapist and beginning therapy can feel uncertain. She offers a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental environment, working collaboratively and at each person’s pace. Her experience includes supporting those affected by difficult or traumatic experiences, anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship challenges, sleep difficulties, emotional regulation, adjustment difficulties, and neurodiversity-related needs.
As a therapist, Ginni helps kiritaki work through the ACC process, identify meaningful wellbeing goals, develop an appropriate therapy plan, and coordinate support. Her approach is trauma-informed, client-centred, and culturally responsive. She draws on CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT-informed strategies, and mindfulness.
Ginni holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Psychology) from the University of Auckland. She is registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and can provide support in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
