Elke is a New Zealand registered Clinical Psychologist working with adults. Elke completed her degree in Clinical Psychology in Heidelberg, Germany in January 1991 before moving to Aotearoa in 1999. Since then Elke has worked under ACC Sensitive Claims.

Elke has been trained as a psychotherapist and in recent years specialises in trauma therapy. Elke assists clients to deal with work related distress, depression, anxiety, life changes and coping with a wide range of clinical diagnosis.

Her vision is to help clients to overcome adversity from the past and develop a positive perspective for their future.

Elke uses Focussing/somatic therapy and client-centred therapy, trauma-processing (Ehlers & Clark). She is trained in a variety of stress management/relaxation strategies and mindfulness.

Elke offers face-to-face sessions but zoom sessions are available too.
